A grant of EUR 125 is paid for each square meter of collector surface. For a Seido model type 1_16, this amounts to a tidy sum of EUR 625 paid by the government.
Applications must be submitted to the Bundesamt für Wirtschaft (Federal Ministry for Economy) prior to contracting a specialized company.

EnEV (German Energy Saving Ordinance) -
solar thermal energy makes it easy to comply with provisions

In February 2002, the German Energy Saving Ordinance (EnEV) took effect, redefining the limits for domestic pollutant emission mass balance. These requirements can be met by means of improved thermal insulation leading to lower energy consumption, or by means of environmentally friendly heating technology, such as solar thermal systems.

ment Program, the German Credit Institution for Reconstruction (KfW) promotes drastic CO2 emission reduction measures. Consumers should consult their 'Hausbank' (primary financial institution) for advice and low-interest loan applications.
